What are your operating hours?
We take calls 9am to 12midnite, 7 days a week.
What is your service area?
Can you help if I’m stuck in a remote area?
We service Carbon County, PA and surrounding areas. Yes, we can assist in remote areas, though response times may be longer due to your location.
How quickly can I expect help to arrive?
Our average response time is 30-60 minutes; this varies depending on location, demand (other customers) and traffic conditions. (High demand times can delay a Service). Sometimes we are assisting someone who called before you.
For Lockouts, do I need to provide identification or proof of ownership?
Yes, required by law to verify proof of ownership/authorized access before we perform a lockout service. This could be a valid deed, lease agreement, title, registration, or even correspondence with your name and address.
What if I’m stranded on the side of the road or at night?
If you’re stranded at night, our regular service hours are 9am – 5pm. After hours service is 5pm onward as available (ususally a higher rate). Contact us and we’ll dispatch help to your location. We will discuss your situation when you contact us for service.
Can you take me home or drop me off somewhere?
Our insurance provider does not let us transport anyone (person, animal, possessions) for any reason. If needed, you should contact a taxi company (such as Carbon Taxi), Uber or Lyft, or another transportation company.
Can you help if my key broke off in the lock?
If the key is broken we can remove it in most cases.
Can you save my lock?
There are many types of locks including foreign. We have several professional methods to pick door locksets/deadbolts. But some (high security for example) are designed to intentionally prevent lock picking, and may need to be drilled. We will discuss options when we are there.
What about keyless door locks or security systems?
For entry doors, we handle lockouts related to keyed locks only. We do not handle a security system installed by someone else.
How about bicycle, safe or padlocks?
We can handle most locks, but we do not decode combination locks. We have to cut or drill. We handle small home safes/lockboxes (not high security). Many such locks will need to be cut or drilled. Some locks probably need to be cut. And some high tech (high cost) locks are highly cut/pick resistant and we do not service them.
Do you provide emergency Heating Oil delivery if I run out?
We can deliver up to 5 – 10 gallons of heating oil if you find yourself unexpectedly low, giving you more time to schedule a delivery. Note we are not a heating oil company!
What is your vehicle Lockout Service?
If you locked your keys in your car, we can unlock most vehicles. We have different tools, in case you have a car that is more difficult to open. Note this service requires your key to be locked inside or available to you. We are a lockout service and do not make keys at this time.
What is your Roadside Assistance?
Our Roadside assistance helps motorists when their vehicle needs: lockout assistance, fuel delivery, or jump-starting a dead battery. Note that we do not provide towing, tire or mechanic services.
If I run out of fuel, what assistance can you provide?
If you run out of GAS or DIESEL, we can deliver fuel to your location.
GAS: We can deliver up to 2 gallons of regular, midgrade or premium gasoline, so you can get to a nearby station.
DIESEL: We can deliver up to 5 gallons of diesel so you can get to a nearby station.
EVs: We do NOT provide any charging services for Electric Vehicles (EVs) with drained batteries.
If my car battery dies, can you assist (a jump start)?
Yes, if your car battery dies, we can jump-start it. However, if your battery/alternator/starter is bad, that will require a mechanic. We cannot jump start any Electric Vehicle (EV).

How does payment work?
We put a hold on your card before departure (so we know we will get paid!). This will be based on your request. If additional services are required or requested, that will be adjusted when we get there.
Do you accept AAA or insurance company or other service plans?
You pay us directly during the service, via credit/debit card or cash. (If they are willing to prepay our regular service charge, possibly. But this is uncommon). If you have such a plan, seek reimbursement from them. We can provide a digital receipt upon request.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit/debit cards and cash. Emergency services are prepaid by credit card.
Do you offer discounts? Is your services negotiable?
That depends on the situation. For cash transactions, we can offer a 4% discount. We do not get into “bidding wars”. We are a small local service that cares about our customers.
What will be the charge for the service(s)?
This depends on the service or services needed, the complexity of the work, your location, and the time of the service. After hour charges are higher. Note that our services are nonrefundable and non-negotiable.
Will I get a receipt?
Upon request, we can provide a digital receipt.
Can you unlock any type of car or home lock?
We are highly trained and equipped with modern tools to unlock a wide range of both car and home locks. However, certain high-security locks or proprietary systems may pose more of a challenge. We may request you to send us a picture to understand your situation.
Can you open a locked trunk?
Yes, we can probably assist with opening most locked car trunks. However, the approach may vary depending on the make and model of your car.
